Elaine RosensonElaine Rosenson is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in private practice in Encino. Elaine received her Masters degree in Educational Psychology from California State University Northridge. She has trained extensively with Drs. Hal and Sidra Stone and has served as a staff facilitator. In 1991, Elaine founded the Valley Voice Dialogue Center. Elaine is a gifted teacher and Voice Dialogue facilitator who offers specialized training and workshops in Voice Dialogue to therapists and is a licensed provider for Continuing Education Credits. Elaine has been a pioneer in bringing Voice Dialogue to hospitals and, in the early 1990's, led workshops at the Wellness Community with Harriet Benjamin. Elaine uses an eclectic approach in responding to her client's needs using various modalities, including, Voice Dialogue, Gestalt, Jungian, family systems, attachment theory, hypnosis, imagery, EMDR, Cognitive/ Behavioral therapies and mind/body therapies to treat clients suffering from a wide-range of problems, including depression, post-traumatic stress disorders, anxiety and life-transition issues. Elaine artfully and sensitively guides the interplay between the intrapsychic and the interpersonal when working with individuals, couples, her women's groups and Voice Dialogue groups.
